We Meet In Llanelli 4th to 7th September

President's Welcome to Llanelli

It is appropriate to mention The Fellowship Autumn Meeting at Llanelli
From the 4th to the 7th September because this is the last official meeting organised by Tony who has been Conference Organiser for many years.

Every one of Tony”s venues has been a success but Llanelli is a favourite by many due to the welcome we always receive and the photographic opportunities it offers.

We will, unfortunately, not be able to match the numbers that attended the 50th Anniversary meeting at Stanton House but that was a very special occasion.

However, we will still number about thirty and would have been nearer to forty but for some cancellations due to illness.

We recognise that travelling distance is becoming a challenge and it is our intention to take this into consideration in future.

With regards,

Cled Lewis.

Here are some places to visit:

National Museum of Wales

National Museum of Wales - Iron Age Round Houses

National Museum of Wales - Window in Farmhouse

National Museum of Wales - Interior - Gwalia Stores

Wales Aviation Museum

Kidwelly

Kidwelly Castle

Photo comment By David Askham: A very tempting range of subjects Cled, not forgetting the National Botanical gardens, nearby. I regret not exploring the host town, Llanelli. Perhaps there is a reason. The picture showing the interior of the grocery store alone, would keep me engaged, photographically, for an hour or so. Thanks for the samples Cled. I presume they are your pictures.
Photo comment By Cled Lewis: Hello David, I agree with your comments but the pictures must be attributed to the Editor. The venues are well worth visiting as Ken has demonstrated but I would only add that the Brecon Red Kite Centre is just over an hour away and that too is well worth a visit.. We are all looking forward to meeting up at Llanelli. Cled.
Photo comment By Ken Davis: Yes David, Cled is right, I should've said these photos are mine from our last visit. Regards Ken
