---===&&&&&===---
Welcome to the Leica Fellowship, a group of friends who share an interest in Leica photography.
Twice a year members can meet for a weekend away in a different part of the UK.
A quarterly newsletter contains news and articles, written by members. You should have received one recently. As well as the weekends, which are great fun, members communicate by email, telephone or Zoom meetings and through this website.
Our website has two main aims:
1. To inform our existing members.
Regular news updates will be the main method of informing members of future plans and meetings. The Gallery will show examples of members’ Leica photography.
2. To attract new members
We hope that our website will attract new members. There is help in abundance for those new to Leica ownership. What better place to learn about fine photography with a Leica?
For a modest subscription; and an interest in Leica equipment, you could join us. You would receive a warm and welcoming letter, and gain the opportunity to make new friends, possibly within your home area. We have members from overseas, but most live in the UK. Why not take that first step by using the link: Contact us here
and register your interest for the attention of our Membership Secretary?

While enjoying a moment in the shade, during the recent summer of heatwaves, frankly, my primary aim was one of personal survival. I scarcely expected to encounter any photo-opportunities.
My thoughts ranged far and wide, wondering whether we would experience wet and windy weather ever again. Remember, we had gone around two months with not a rain-cloud in sight in the southern half of the UK. Human energy was greatly reduced, especially for the elderly.
Then I saw a glimmer of hope. Read on to discover what had caught my attention. But first, I needed a suitable camera.
