When I was at the Leica Fellowship 50th Anniversary Weekend I visited Cirencester on 26th April. I noticed immediately a very striking cloud formation. Fortunately, what is sometimes referred to as the "Cathedral of the Cotswolds" (actually the Parish Church of St. John the Baptiste) made a perfect foreground. As a bonus one of the shots included a Red Kite, high in the sky in silhouette, placed perfectly in the frame.
I used the M (type 240) with a modern Zeiss Biogon lens. (I hope the Leica purists will not mind too much!).
I used a D Lux (type 109) for all the photos of Stanton Fitzwarren.
